Massage Therapy in Surrey

Massage is the manipulation of muscles and their tendons, ligaments and other connective tissues by applying pressure to the body. Pressure on the skin can loosen stiff muscles and help you relax. The initial consultation will be the same as for an osteopathic treatment.

General advice – Massage is generally considered safe, though a full consultation will be carried out prior to the first treatment. Do not eat immediately before a massage and do mention if you do not feel comfortable with the skin pressure, room temperature, music or any other aspect of the treatment. At the end of your session sit up slowly as some people may feel a little dizzy, you will be offered some water after your massage as you may feel a little thirsty.
